Pluchea Cass.

Genus composed of about 56 species distributed mainly through tropical and subtropical areas of almost the entire world. In North Africa it is represented by 2 species, both with tropical ecology. P. ovalis, that reaches the S of Morocco to the N, and P. dioscoridis that reaches almost to the Mediterranean in Egypt to the NE.
