Limoniastrum Fabr.

Genus comprised of 2 species in North Africa. One species of Mediterranean distribution, L. monopetalum, and another one of Saharan and pre-Saharan distribution, L. guyonianum. A further 3 North African, traditionally included under this genus, are now under Ceratolimon and Saharanthus.
