Diceratella Boiss.

Closely related genus to Matthiola, from which it has been relatively recently differentiated. Genus composed of 10 tropical and subtropical species from NE Africa, Arabia and Iran. Small shrubs densely covered with stellate hairs, entire leaves, inner sepals without terminal pouches, white or lilac petals and fruit in silique, late dehiscent, with a small stigmatic head and seeds in a single row. Its only species in Norh Africa is D. elliptica.
