Ceratonia L.

Genus composed of 2 species with only a single species represented in the territory, C. siliqua, of Mediterranean distribution, while C. oreothauma Hillc. is restricted to the Arabian Peninsula (Oman and southern Yemen) and eastern Africa, in Somalia. In the latter region some authors recognise a different subspecies: subsp. somaliensis
