Thymbra L.
Genus with 7 species distributed across the Mediterranean region and SW Asia; in North Africa, in recent decades it has been represented only by T. capitata, but after the revision by Bräuchler (2018), another one, T. linearifolia, formerly in the genus Satureja, is incorporated.
