Feuilles \u00e0 limbe de 20-40 \u00d7 14-30 mm, pub\u00e9rulentes (poils sur les nervures), glabrescentes, vertes sur l\u2019endroit, plus p\u00e2les sur l\u2019envers, \u00e0 p\u00e9tiole de 4-10 mm, pub\u00e9rulent, glabrescent, et 2 stipules transform\u00e9es en \u00e9pines persistantes, la plus longue plus ou moins droite et l\u2019autre courb\u00e9e. Bract\u00e9es de 0,6-1,1(1,5) mm, poilues ou glabres, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 bord glanduleux, brunes, promptement caduques. Fleurs pentam\u00e8res (tr\u00e8s rarement hexam\u00e8res). R\u00e9ceptacle patelliforme, glabre ; p\u00e9dicelle accrescent \u00e0 la fructification (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 12 mm). S\u00e9pales de (1,4)1,5-1,8(2) \u00d7 (1)1,2-1,5(1,7) mm, glabres, d\u2019un jaune l\u00e9g\u00e8rement verd\u00e2tre. P\u00e9tales de 1-1,6 \u00d7 0,6-1,1(1,3) mm, blanc-jaun\u00e2tre.
