Tronc et rameaux principaux \u00e0 \u00e9corce rugueuse et tr\u00e8s fissur\u00e9e, brun\u00e2tre ou brun\u00e2tre-noir\u00e2tre, qui ne se d\u00e9tache pas, et qui s\u00e9cr\u00e8te une r\u00e9sine rouge\u00e2tre au niveau des blessures. Rameaux jeunes vert-olivac\u00e9, glabres ou poilus. \u00c9pines stipulaires de 0,5-8(15) cm, appari\u00e9es, divergentes, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement droites, blanches ou gris p\u00e2le. Feuilles de 4-10(15) cm, alternes, bipenn\u00e9es, \u00e0 p\u00e9tiole de 3-6(8) cm, et rachis \u00e0 3-10(14) paires de pennes -pourvu d\u2019une glande \u00e0 hauteur du point d\u2019insertion des pennes-, chacune \u00e0 10-27(30) paires de folioles de 1,5-7 \u00d7 0,5-1,5(2) mm, oblongues, \u00e0 sommet arrondi, subsessiles, glabres ou poilues, vertes. Inflorescences en capitules glom\u00e9ruliformes globuleux de (6)12-15 mm de diam\u00e8tre, axillaires, solitaires ou en fascicules de 2-4, p\u00e9doncul\u00e9es \u2013p\u00e9doncule de 1,2-4,5 cm\u2013, \u00e0 nombreuses fleurs minuscules, d&rsquo;un jaune brillant. Calice de 1-2 mm, \u00e0 dents pub\u00e9rulentes. Corolle de 2,5-4 mm, \u00e0 lobules oblongs. \u00c9tamines tr\u00e8s nombreuses. Gousse de (8)10-15(20) cm \u00d7 (12)15-22 mm, lin\u00e9aire et comprim\u00e9e, ou toruleuse -resserr\u00e9e et \u00e9trangl\u00e9e entre les graines-, pendante, droite ou courb\u00e9e, brun fonc\u00e9 \u00e0 gris\u00e2tre, glabre ou poilue, ind\u00e9hiscente, \u00e0 4-10(16) graines.
