In North Africa, it is represented by 3 genera: <strong>Terminalia<\/strong>, <strong>Combretum<\/strong> y <strong>Guiera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Guiera<\/strong> Adans. ex Juss., a monotypic genus, from sub-Saharan Africa, that, in the southern boundary of this project\u2019s area presents the species <strong>G. senegalensis<\/strong> J.F. Gmel., an evergreen shrub characterised by having numerous black glands scattered among its leaves and branchlets.
